NASA MOB/WOB initiative

The ETTC Incubator EZ/EC project is part of the NASA initiative to transfer NASA technologies and resources to minority-owned businesses (MOB) and women-owned businesses (WOB) within the Far West Region. Our goal was to to look at business incubators as a prime resource to linking businesses with NASA technologies.

The goal of this work first included:

Identifying the Federal Empowerment Zones / Enterprise Communities and State Enterprise Zones in the Eight states that are defined as the Far West region.
Identifying the locations of incubators within these 8 western states.
Determine incubators with minority or women owned businesses.
Targeting MOB/WOB businesses and assist in technology transfer of NASA technologies.
